Through our affiliation with Fora Travel, ATraveller books more than 1,800 Virtuoso hotels with daily breakfast for two, a hotel credit of $100 or more, priority consideration for an upgrade on arrival and early check-in and late check-out, at the same rate the hotel publishes itself. There is no booking fee.
Luxury hotels give complimentary booking benefits to guests of top-tier travel agencies because they want access to the significant guest spending those agencies control. Booking with access to Virtuoso rates passes those benefits directly on to you, at the same rate the hotel publishes on its own website.
That means daily breakfast for two, a hotel credit of $100 or more (some properties restrict its use to certain outlets), a considered welcome amenity, and priority consideration for an upgrade on arrival, subject to availability, alongside the same priority for early check-in and late check-out.
With access to Virtuoso rates, we can offer these benefits at luxury hotels around the world. Virtuoso reaches more than 1,800 hotels worldwide, including boutique and independent properties with no programme of their own.
Properties our clients love include Le Bristol in France, a Faubourg Saint-Honoré landmark built around a rare courtyard garden; Soneva Jani in the Maldives, with overwater villas, retractable roofs and a boardwalk across the lagoon; and Cliveden House in the UK, a Thames-side stately home on 376 acres, an hour from London yet entirely rural.

Enquire NowFrequently Asked Questions
What is Virtuoso?
Virtuoso is a global network of luxury travel agencies and some of the world's finest hotels, cruise lines and experiences. Its member agencies, including Fora Travel, with which ATraveller is affiliated, can offer guests preferred benefits at more than 1,800 hotels worldwide.
Which hotels are included in Virtuoso?
More than 1,800 hotels worldwide, from major luxury brands to boutique and independent properties with no preferred-partner programme of their own. Popular choices with our clients include Le Bristol in Paris, Soneva Jani in the Maldives and Cliveden House in the UK.
Does booking a Virtuoso hotel through ATraveller cost more than booking direct?
No. Virtuoso benefits are provided at the same rate the hotel publishes itself, and ATraveller does not charge a service fee.
Is breakfast included with Virtuoso?
Yes, at almost every participating hotel. Daily breakfast for two is one of Virtuoso's standard benefits.
How much is the Virtuoso hotel credit?
A hotel credit of $100 or more per stay. Some properties restrict its use to certain outlets, such as dining or the spa, and we confirm the details for your hotel when booking.
Are upgrades guaranteed with Virtuoso?
No. Virtuoso guests receive priority consideration, but upgrades depend on availability on the day. We note your occasion and preferences with the hotel ahead of arrival to give you the best chance.
Does Virtuoso include early check-in and late check-out?
Yes, as a priority on both arrival and departure day, subject to availability.
Does Virtuoso include a welcome amenity?
Yes. A welcome amenity is chosen by the property and arranged for you on arrival.
Can I earn hotel loyalty points on a Virtuoso booking?
In most cases, yes. Bookings are made directly with the hotel at its own rate, so loyalty points and status generally continue to accrue, subject to each hotel's programme rules.
Can Virtuoso benefits be combined with prepaid or promotional rates?
Usually not. Virtuoso benefits normally apply to the Virtuoso rate, which is generally flexible. If a prepaid or promotional rate offers better value for your stay, we will compare the two for you.
How does Virtuoso compare with hotel brand programmes?
Where a hotel group runs its own programme, such as Four Seasons Preferred Partner or Rosewood Elite, we usually book through that instead, as its benefits are often stronger and can be combined with more rates. Virtuoso is most valuable at independent and boutique hotels and at brands without a programme of their own.
Does Virtuoso apply to cruises?
Yes. Virtuoso also partners with cruise lines. Explora Journeys bookings made through ATraveller with access to Virtuoso rates, for example, include an onboard credit of $150 per person.
Can Virtuoso benefits be used for special occasions?
Yes. Let us know about the occasion when booking and we will share it with the hotel, so the welcome amenity and arrangements reflect it.
Can I add Virtuoso benefits to a booking I have already made?
Often, yes. If you have already booked directly with the hotel or through another website, contact us before you travel. In many cases we can move the reservation to a Virtuoso booking and add the benefits to your existing stay. Whether this is possible depends on the hotel and the type of rate booked, as prepaid and non-refundable reservations are not always transferable, so we check every booking individually.
How do I book a Virtuoso hotel with ATraveller benefits?
Contact ATraveller with your hotel and dates. We secure the Virtuoso rate, apply the benefits to your reservation and pass any preferences or celebrations to the hotel ahead of arrival.
