What are the benefits of booking a luxury cruise through ATraveller?
A cruise booked through ATraveller carries privileges from our cruise partners in addition to the cruise line’s own fare. Most often this is an onboard credit, and on certain lines it also includes an upgrade opportunity or a VIP welcome. One dedicated adviser oversees every detail, from your first enquiry to embarkation.
Which cruise lines does ATraveller work with?
ATraveller works with Four Seasons Yachts, The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, Explora Journeys, Silversea, Swan Hellenic, Orient Express Sailing Yachts, Les Bateaux Belmond, Aqua Expeditions and Virgin Voyages, among others.
Does booking a cruise through ATraveller cost more than booking direct?
No. Cruises reserved through ATraveller are priced at the cruise line’s own fare, and our partner privileges are included at the same rate as booking direct. ATraveller does not charge clients a service fee.
How much onboard credit can I receive when booking through ATraveller?
Onboard credit varies by line and voyage, for example:
- up to $2,000 per suite on Four Seasons Yachts
- $300 per person on Silversea
- €250 per person on Orient Express
- $150 per person on Explora Journeys and Swan Hellenic
- up to $400 per cabin on Virgin Voyages
Is ATraveller an accredited cruise adviser?
Yes. ATraveller is CLIA and IATA accredited through its affiliation with Fora Travel, which gives access to Virtuoso rates. Our clients have sailed with Four Seasons Yachts, Silversea and The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection.
What is the difference between a luxury yacht, an expedition ship and an ocean voyage?
Luxury yachts, such as Four Seasons Yachts and The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, welcome a few hundred guests or fewer and call at smaller, more secluded harbours. Expedition ships, such as Swan Hellenic and the Silversea expedition fleet, are built for polar and remote regions, with landings led by experts. Ocean ships, such as Explora Journeys and Virgin Voyages, offer more space, more restaurants and more facilities on board.
Which luxury cruises are all-inclusive?
Explora Journeys, Silversea, Swan Hellenic and Aqua Expeditions include most dining and drinks in the fare. Each line adds further inclusions that vary by line, such as Wi-Fi, gratuities, excursions or transfers. Virgin Voyages includes dining at every restaurant, Wi-Fi and group fitness. We confirm exactly what each fare includes before you reserve.
Can ATraveller add privileges to a cruise I have already booked?
Often, yes. Many cruise lines allow a reservation to be transferred to an accredited adviser, usually within a set period after booking. Share your booking details with us and we will confirm whether your voyage can be transferred and which privileges can be added.
Will my cruise line loyalty recognition still apply when booking through ATraveller?
Yes. Your reservation is held directly with the cruise line, so your loyalty membership and past-guest recognition continue to apply. We add your membership details to the reservation.
How do I choose the right luxury cruise?
