When you book a luxury hotel through ATraveller, you pay exactly the same published rate you would find booking directly with the hotel. There is no markup and no service fee. What is a hotel preferred partner programme?
A hotel preferred partner programme is an invitation-only relationship between a luxury hotel group and a select number of accredited travel advisers. Guests who book through an accredited adviser enjoy complimentary privileges that are not offered when booking direct or through online travel sites. These often include daily breakfast, a hotel credit, upgrade priority, and early check-in and late check-out.
Why do luxury hotels extend additional privileges to guests who book through a travel adviser?
Luxury hotels place great value on the guests that accredited advisers introduce, and on the long-standing relationships those advisers hold with each property. Rosewood Elite confirms upgrades at booking in Asia and Europe, and Hyatt Privé confirms the upgrade within 24 hours. Most other programmes offer upgrade priority, subject to availability.
Can ATraveller add privileges to a hotel I have already booked?
Often, yes. If you have already booked directly with the hotel or through another website, contact us before you travel. In many cases we can move the reservation and add the preferred partner privileges to your stay. This depends on the hotel and the type of rate booked.
Can I enjoy preferred partner privileges at independent and boutique hotels?
Yes. Through Virtuoso and Small Luxury Hotels of the World, ATraveller can extend adviser privileges to distinguished independent and boutique hotels that do not run a programme of their own. Virtuoso covers more than 1,800 hotels worldwide.
Will I still earn hotel loyalty points if I book through ATraveller?
In most cases, yes. Programmes such as Hyatt Privé, Hilton For Luxury, Marriott STARS and Luminous, IHG Destined, Accor Preferred HERA, Shangri-La Luxury Circle and Jumeirah Passport to Luxury are settled directly with the hotel. Your points and elite status therefore continue to build as usual.
